Back in 2010 I wrote a post entitled 60 Fun Things. I had been back in London for a year and still counting my lucky stars that I lived in such a frantic and interesting city. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the most out of it, so came up with a London-centric list of thinks I wanted to do. 60 seemed like a reasonable figure to complete in a year.
But my new list doesn’t really have a time limit. Just a list of awesome things I’d like to do at some point:
1. Go to the Prince Charles Cinema
2. Go to Harrod’s
3. See a stand-up comedian
4. Visit Sir John Soanes’ Museum by candlelight
5. Go to a costume party (probably as Cleopatra)
6. Have an evening picnic
7. Ignore Borough Market and head to Maltby Street Market instead
8. Do a pub crawl
9. Eat the best pizza in London (apparently) at Franco Manca
10. See a play at Shakespeare’s Globe
11. See a play at a pub theatre, like King’s Head
12. Take a guided tour of Tyburn Convent
13. Go on the London Eye at night
14. Go to Westminster Abbey (even if it does cost, like, £15 a ticket)
15. Rent a deckchair at Green Park
16. Go to one of those Turkish restaurants in East London that everyone raves about
17. See if those Russell Norman restaurants are worth the fuss
18. Spend an evening eating in Brixton Village
19. Have a look around Persephone Books
20. Go to the amazing pub that does dim sum
21. Check out the Foundling Museum
22. Try not to buy everything at Daunt Books
23. Take the No. 11 bus route from end to finish

Personally, I’m amazed you haven’t been to the Prince Charles Cinema. The best cinema in London, by far!
Also, beer AND dim sum? That is the best idea ever.
I know, I suck. but I have my eye on their sing-a-long screenings of The Wicker Man.
