While at HeyHuman in 2014, I managed the social media presence of Britain’s most popular tea brand. As PG tips talked to their fans as Monkey, their adorable brand mascot, the ability to mimic his unique tone of voice was key.
I developed a monthly content calendar, social campaigns and responded to their 450,000+ followers daily. I also created a Superfan programme that rewarded the brand’s most vocal and positive followers with personalised content.
I oversaw the launch of their Instagram channel and developed a UGC (user-generated content) competition that grew our following with no ad spend and immediately engaged our brand new followers. Other fun highlights included managing a social media partnership with The Trussell Trust and producing an #IceBucketChallenge video starring none other than Monkey.
